Eye Candy Yoru Black Mica Powder
Eye Candy Yoru Black mica powder did exactly what I needed on the 8 ft Walnut Entry Hall Table: it turned the epoxy gaps into clean black lines that separated the walnut and birdseye maple inlays.
I wanted contrast, but not a color that would fight the wood. The black mica gave the resin a strong, finished look and helped the geometric pattern read clearly after the surface was flattened. It also tied in with the black epoxy borders on the rebuilt drawer fronts, so the whole table felt more intentional.
For a project where the resin lines were part of the design, this powder was a good choice. It made the details sharp, gave the top some depth, and kept the focus on the pattern instead of just the pour.
