Solar Multicolor Light

I used this solar multicolor light in the CNC-Carved Birdhouse with a Solar LED Window and Halloween Solar Lantern Boxes projects. It is a great fit when I want a small, self-contained lighting effect without adding a switch, visible wiring, a power cord, or a battery routine.

In the birdhouse, the color-changing LED gave one window a lived-in glow at dusk, almost like a tiny room was lit from inside. That simple effect became the hook for the whole build and made the finished piece feel more like a miniature house than a plain outdoor decoration.

For the Halloween lantern boxes, the solar lights worked just as well. They read as pumpkin-style stems during the day, then lit the carved faces after dark. The multicolor glow adds personality, keeps the builds easy to place outside, and makes the payoff happen automatically once the sun goes down.
