Material Review
Tuck Tape Sheathing Tape
Tuck Tape was one of the practical materials behind the resin work on the 8 ft Walnut Entry Hall Table. It is not the part anyone notices first, but it mattered during the setup because the table top needed a clean resin stage before it could be flattened and finished.
I used it as part of the prep around the pour, where a dependable tape makes the messy part easier to control. On a long table top with walnut, birdseye maple, and open gaps for black epoxy, having a tape that sticks well and helps keep resin where it belongs is a small thing that saves headaches.
It is the kind of shop material I appreciate more after the fact. The final table is about the wood, pattern, and black resin lines, but materials like this help make that clean final reveal possible.
