Suede-Tex Mini Flocker

The Suede-Tex Mini Flocker made the inside of the 80th Birthday Book Box feel finished instead of bare. The outside of that box already had yellowheart, black epoxy artwork, and book-style details, so the interior needed a softer treatment to match the keepsake feel.

This was my first time using flocking on a project, and the applicator made the process approachable. It helped turn adhesive and fiber into a more even interior surface than I would have gotten by trying to fake the effect another way.

For a gift box, that detail matters. The flocked inside made the project feel more personal and complete when the lid opened.
