Xtool F1 Ultra

The Xtool F1 Ultra was the right tool for the Mother's Day Card 2026 because the project depended on fine engraved detail. The card started as a painted cherry blank with AI-assisted artwork, then the engraving had to carry the linework before the foil and clear coat finished the piece.

I liked how cleanly it fit into that workflow. The design moved from digital artwork to a physical engraved card without losing the small birds, lettering, and decorative lines that made the gift personal.

For a small handmade piece, the laser work gave the card a level of detail that would have been hard to get another way. It helped make the finished gift feel deliberate instead of just decorated.
