Project
3D-Printed Hall Lamp
Build Date:
This was the first lamp I ever built. I designed it to fit on the entry hall table I built, and the finished lamp sits about 24 inches tall.
The body was too tall for my 3D printer at the time, so I printed it in several sections and made the bottom hollow enough to hold sand for stability.
Print And Fit

After the sections were glued together, the rough work was mostly sanding, filling, and checking the shape. Wood putty helped close the gaps between printed parts before primer and paint.
Surface Prep

The final finish is spray paint with Rub 'n Buff added to the edges for a little more dimension. The lamp harp was purchased separately, and the shade came from At Home.
